12th ACGHK 2010 (2010/07/31)

The Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong (ACGHK) fair held annually attracts youngsters and adults with its creative and new animation products, comics, online games, electronic games and special edition collectibles as well as its performance-based competitions.

The five day ACGHK fair runs from July 30 to August 3, 2010.

Each year, teens who are fans of specific anime or comic characters can dress up for the Cosplay competition. Group winners each win HK$2,000 while the overall champion will take home HK$6,000.

Another competition is the Dance Power competition where participants of all ages are welcomed. Finals for the three sections including jazz, hip-hop and freestyle dance. Guest performers will be featured, from Japan, Taiwan, Korea and the United States. The champion of each section wins HK$10,000.

Last year, the fair attracted 649,000 people.
